Havana Biennial

Since its inception in 1984, the Havana Biennial has become one of the world's most important events for contemporary art. As always, it presents the work of artists who come from or have their cultural roots in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.

For this reason Universes in Universe is devoting special attention to this art event. We have published comprehensive reports on the 6th Biennial (1997) and the 7th Biennial (2000). For the 8th edition in the year 2003 we provide a photo report, including some notes.
